prayer
Father bless those people that have lost loved ones, and even their homes, and personal posessions.
Let this be a time of healing for your people every where.
Oh Lord bless those that are even getting sick from the horrible conditions,
that they had to endure for several days.
Please oh God restore the city of New Orleans, and the surrounding areas.
Bless your people every where, that don't know where their loved ones are.
Thank you oh God for all of those that are helping the victems.
Bless Texas and every state, and city that is stepping up to the plate.
Thank you for your loving kindness, in this time.
In the name of Jesus the Christ of Nazereth, I pray Amen Amen and praise God.
the fruits of the spirit
The next section of the page we will devote to the fruits of the spirit,
which can be found in Gallations chapter 5, verses 22 & 23.
In this time we need to possess the fruits of the spirit.
We will relate each one to these trying times for the victims and the nation.
- love
the first one we will look at is love.
Love hides a multitude of faults.
Many people are hurting in this time, and may do things we don't agree with.
We still have to pray for these people and show them that love, that Christ instructs us to show.
- joy
Inspite of all that is going on and has befallen the victoms of Katrina, We have to be joyful,
We must let that joy in Jesus shine and show to the people,
so that they may be encouraged, even if it is just a little bit.
- peace
Inspite of the storm, people need to find peace,
that peace can only come from the Lord.
Peace that surpasseth all understanding.
- long suffering
We have to take time and be prayerful and patient with the victoms.
This is not an easy time for them.
If it were us in this situation,
we would want every one to be there for us.
- gentleness
We must be gentle in our speech, andin our actions.
It is time to help heal the wounds not add insult to injury.
- goodness
Goodness must be shown to the people.
Thank God for all of the help that people are giving,
but there is still alot to do.
- faith
The victoms, as well as the rest of us,
must practice faith, which means,
F (For) A (all) I (I) T (trust) H (him), meaning Jesus the Christ of Nazereth.
- meekness
We must come to those in need meek and gentle as a little lamb.
Think of how Jesus came to save us from sin,
in a gentle and meek way.
- temperance
We must learn to controll our tempers,
even when those who would, despitefully use us.
So let us pray for not only the victoms,
in their time of need,
but let us pray for one another, as a human race.
So God bless all of us in the U. S. A.
